I was in a seminar about new trends in cosmetics and a chemist researcher used the term cosmeceuticals, but the leader of the panel, a professor of pharmacology rigorously said: “please don’t use this term again. It’s wrong and it means nothing” -
“Fools” is a little heavy word.

We hope that the authorities are informed of such studies and decide if they need to take action. It’s advisable for us, to follow only their directives. (But it’s also good for us to keep an eye to various scientific studies about ingredients safety).

Yes I know, I wanted a more “natural” profile with guar because i didn’t know that polyquaternium are made from also natural Cellulose. But I must try polyquat 10 to see how it behaves in the solution. Also I was seeing some comercial products with similar LOI and guar h.c. and believed that it can be done.

I’m o.k. with viscosity - don’t need thickener. Citric acid thickens very well the solution. I use guar mainly for conditioning properties.

Thanks for the suggestion DRBOB@VERDIENT.BIZ.
All the “Jaguars” have almost double price from other guars but Solvay makes good manufacturing work. -
At my beginings before years, I made soaps with concentrated lemon juice instead of citric acid, to be completely “natural”. But my regulator told me that I must add “citric acid” in the ingredients list even if i don’t put it in. So i stopped the lemon juice.

Wow! I just saw this “made in China”…

Before ten years I made my first batch of olive oil soap and before three years my first sulfate free unstable shampoo.

Try to search for any basic cosmetic ingredient and EWG result will be almost always at the first page of google. Always I ignore it.
