    Hi Perry,

I would love to pursue cosmetic science, but I am currently applying to MPH. What do you think is the most related MPH course that would, in a way, supplement my understanding of the epidermis and/or skincare treatments? I’m just not sure if there is… I would love to hear your opinion on it.

Hello Lisa – sorry, I don’t know what MPH stands for.

Hello Elika – Yes, there really aren’t PHD programs specifically for cosmetics. If you want to get a PHD you can get it in a subject like Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or something like that. Most people who get advanced degrees in cosmetics get Masters degrees.

I am a Chem major student in college. How do I get internships from big cosmetic companies? I changed my major after my first year college and now I am a little behind ( cannot graduate on time). The becoming summer, I need to take summer classes in order to graduate one semester less. Will GPA counts more than experience? I like to do labs and not really good in taking exams. What path will you recommend for me?
