    Do you really need the N-Acetyl Glucosamine, T-Resveratrol Fluid,Dimethyl Isosorbide?  Seems like your formulation is fine without it especially if it didn’t turn orange.

    those test kits in various forms of complexity are also being marketed to companies as a cost savings to small businesses.

    @Microformulation
    I would be more than happy to look at a CBD potency report.  It would definitely help me.   I have every intention of learning this process. I do want credibility with the products and with my personal work.  That is why I am here since I am novice to this type of calculation.  I am not sure of all the parameters that I need to do this calculation. Right now I am working on getting more information about CBD that I am using.

    @BProvisions and @Microformulation
    I totally understand the point of view of each of you.  I must admit I have the same sentiment with heated conversations with non scientists.   This does not stop people for wanting to jump on the band wagon of a public trend right now.

    I just basically want to make sure I have right calculations for CBD alone. I have a tendency to make this more difficult than what it is.

    So lets just say my CBD potency is 75%. and I want to have a finish goods with 300 mg in a 4 ounce size of lotion.

    CBD available = 75% potent

    I assume I am trying to find out if in a shampoo would 100-300mg of CBD/Hemp oil be effective enough to being relief. I am in a state where rec/medicinal is legal.

    I understand what you are saying in a technical sense but clients don’t really care as long as they can get a label claim and some decent effectiveness for soothing the scalp, some pain relief and  overall relaxing.

    @Microformulation
    So would 300 mg of CBD in 16 fl oz make the product functional with a decent dose?  I am try to make a “functional hair shampoo product.”  What can be considered a decent dose?

    Thanks for the information ! I plan to read the information concerning the studies by the Israeli scientists.

    @Microformulation I know of a shampoo that advertises 10 mg of CBD in 16 fl oz.
    So you really need the entourage effect to have a truly effective product.  So how effective would the 10mg of just CBD be in this shampoo?  Most of the marketing is 0% THC. Would 20 mg in 16 fl. oz be better or overkill?
