What surprises me is that why you professional chemists don’t use AHA( lactic or glycolic acid) Products?Specially, why are you not making it by yourself?
This way you know it is very inexpensive and effective. Isn’t it? -
chemicalmatt said:@Abdullah the answer to that question would entail a multi-hour seminar on the topic, one going into the weeds in physical chemistry. No short answer here.
Do you recommend any book to study for that?

Pharma said:@Abdullah Usually, smaller micelles means higher stability (but uniformity is as important). Smaller particles result in a larger surface area and that also means that more emulsifier molecules are located within the interphase. If, in a particular case, one really has to use more emulsifier is a different story.
What factors has influence on micelles size and makes them smaller in an emulsion?
-
Polyglyceryl 4 laurate make spryable emulsion with even 0.3% xanthan gum.
It is also cold process.I don’t know how i commented this in another discussion -

@Pharma does reducing micelle size increase the stability of emulsion or decrease it?
Will decreased micelles size mean we will need more emulsifier?

I will check them one by one and see which one is the problem.
I thought it may be EDTA because i usually make a 20% EDTA solution and use that in products but now it solidifies too.

Now, it’s a suppliers chart, so always be careful with those.Yes. This chart is to show how effective APG is. But between SLES and LABSA, it shows SLES effective for much more stain types than LABSA.
This chart was not supposed to show how SLES effectiveness.

@Perry can i ask why do you think amodimethicone would specially be seen as good for hair?
-
Can you write your formula?
2.5% citric acid will reduce the pH a lot lower.
-
You can just add gum+ water and adjust pH to 4.3 and see if it works at that pH.

Happy new year and thank you all for everything.

I agree with Perry.
Can tell what was the temperature, mixer type and mixing time in both small and big batches?

Thanks for the help.
will it be available in the market as cheap as solid..?
Can you please suggest me some other Ingredient for the same purpose.?It will not be as cheap but it is much easier to work with.
Titanium dioxide will work too.

Use a liquid preblend of glycol distearate.

It also has glyceryl oleate
