@Faustin, do you mean peeling effect is after it dry, it leaves white powder of niacinamide ? or the skin that peeling?

That would depend on the intended pH of the formula. If you are using lactic acid only as a pH buffer, that would be possible. If you are making an AHA serum with lactic acid as the main active, it won’t go with at least the Niacianmide, not sure about the other two.

    thx for the repply.

i’ll try to make Niacinamide 10%, Lactic acid 5%, ZInc PCA 1% and Hydrolyzed Collagen 2%….is this possible? the pH is about 4,5 - 5,5.

Yeah, I would see the main problem would be the pH. As Lactic Acid would require quite low pH to be bio-available, it can negatively effect the other ingredients. You would need to check required pH for the rest of the ingredients and then share the whole formula.

    thx for the reply.

is there any document that say niacinamide can be at pH low than 6,0 ? can u give me the link? thx.

you might have to define ‘fluppy’, that’s a new term for me..
Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate has some nice creamy foam, you could also try HPMC

Fluppy is like creamy foam where foam is dense and very small bubbles.

SLS will create a better foam than SLES so you might want to try that.

i already try SLS the foam is better but not dense and the bubbles is big.

I want to make dense foam with creamy texture with small bubble….example product like Shiseido perfect whip or like japanese facial foam where the foam is dense small bubbles and bigger foam.

    Thank you

Thankyou @Pharma and @ngarayeva001 for your info. so its PEG-40 HCO that makes it bitter. i’ll reduce PEG-40 HCO value.

    Thanks again.
