you might have to define ‘fluppy’, that’s a new term for me..
Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate has some nice creamy foam, you could also try HPMC

SLS will create a better foam than SLES so you might want to try that.

Fluppy is like creamy foam where foam is dense and very small bubbles.

i already try SLS the foam is better but not dense and the bubbles is big.

I want to make dense foam with creamy texture with small bubble….example product like Shiseido perfect whip or like japanese facial foam where the foam is dense small bubbles and bigger foam.

    Thank you

@rikandry As Perry mentioned, you could try with SLS, perhaps not replacing all the SLES but using both in conjunction (P&G use this combination very often, I believe the ratio was abour 1:3 SLES:SLS, but you can check some patents to confirm). Also, you could replace some SLES by Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate  which helps create a very creamy foam. Now, you can also use some foam stabilizers to prevent collaps of bubbles, like Amine oxides and Alkanolamides, and/or some water soluble polymers (PEG’s, polyquaterniums, etc.).

It might help if you told us all the ingredients in your formula if you haven’t yet.  Adding HPMC (methylcellulose) or Guar Hydroxpropyltrimonium chloride may boost the foam. If you have glycerin in your formula that will hurt foam so reduce that level. In the old days we would just use Cocamide DEA which worked great for that but alas, the ingredient has developed a poor reputation.

I make a simple face wash with sodium lauroyl sarcosinate as my only surfactant. Foam is dense and creamy, I really like how it looks and performs. There’s also Biore U The Body cleanser in a foaming bottle, foam is quite similar to whipped cream. If the ingredient list I found is correct, then they use sodium cocoyl glutamate as main surfactant with sles, laureth-6 carboxylic acid, lauramidopropyl betaine, and isodecyl glyceryl ether.

Hi, I’m using Sodium Cocoyl Methyl Isethionate with Cocomidopropyl Butaine and the foam is super creamy and dense. At least to me. And it’s also super gentle on the skin. Sometimes I add Coco Glucoside just to boost the foam.
