You might need Sepicgel305 or Aristoflex AVC to give a little body like @ketchito mentioned - easy to find.
Neutrogena - Sepicgel305
Clinique, Laneige - Aristoflex AVC -

Where do you make the choice of a 5 ingredient product or as I said the bible?
What is right and what is wrong?Where do I make my choice? - consumers’ safety.
Either 5 or bible++, always make sure your product is safe.
Self-preserved or no preservative is not my cup of tea.simple or complicated? - be yourself, create product that represent your brand identity.

It might not be ideal process for commercial scale production like @Abdullah mentioned. -

actually not really.
If what you are going for is something similar to ultraplant, you may want to try to research for customer reviews outside of their communities more. It’s sure work well with dissolving makeup but it can’t be rinse off with water, you have to wipe your face sooooo hard with damp clothes to get it off.If you want to ref. a product, I would recommend goop, they have their own cult like Lush but their products ‘re better formulated and work better than Lush’s. -
I’m getting a Lush-vibe.
Not ideally good for Acne-prone skin.
You may try, incorporate vegan-emulsifier in your balm for easier wipe off with damp clothes. -

@MarkBroussard - Please don’t encourage that. You might create a weird trend unintentionally.
DaveStone said:How come microneedling isn’t foolproof then?It is not a one-time magic procedure, if done correctly, usually took 3 courses in 6 months period.
@DaveStone - to your question, in theory it could be yes but every cut leaves a scar/microscar, it’s there even if you can’t see it. So It’s the choice between scar or wrinkle.

You can try Cosmoperine® from Sabinsa or Piper Nigrum (Pepper) Fruit Extract and Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract (Gingerols 10%).
VBE alone is quite irritating, using it with black pepper and ginger, you may have to do irritation test. -

for fun reading. @GraillotionVitamin D3 is produced in the skin from 7-dehydrocholesterol by UV irradiation.vitamin D def, you can guess what will be the first prescription, yes sun exposure - morning sun 7-8 am or evening sun 4-5 pm for 15-30 min.In US, it isn’t banned, L’oreal still use it but EU version they removed it, I’m guessing they use it at super low.Perry said:That you find creams on Amazon is not surprising. It is difficult for the FDA to keep up on all these different products.Very true. Some weird stuffs sell better than actual OTC.

I want to hear Pharma’s take on curcuminoid.
Curcumin, Demethoxycurcumin
and Bisdemethoxycurcumin in the Crude Curcuminoid
Extract from Curcuma longa VS TetrahydrodiferuloylmethaneI have read Curcuma longa extract benefits in open wound but on intact skin I haven’t had any thing solid yet.
I’m skeptical about Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane.
Any thought on Cassumunarin? Is it really good/special as papers from Thailand say it is?
It’s a short session, if it’s possible if you can point the direction to the study or book I can read further would be appreciated.
@Perry - I missed the session with Mark, do I have any way to watch it, is it available on youtube?

Congrats on the job and my heart goes out to you.
It’s just the way rich people live lol.
I had to go and stay in our costumer’s house ( I wouldn’t call it a house tho, it’s more like 3 villas in the same fence ) for 3 days and he took me golfing, fishing, dinning, parties, blabla without a single word of business but at the end he payed easily. It’s cultural thing we marketer/sale-rep have to learn over time.
It’s better than rich(?) people who talk big but don’t actually have the $.Good luck. Cheers!!!

There’s issue with ensuring consumer safety.

MemberOctober 5, 2021 at 7:39 pm in reply to: What are the benchmark textures in emulsion cosmetics for face and body…that use gums?Honestly, (texturally) I’m not impressed with any hand cream or face or body cream anymore weather polymeric or not.I categorized them to only “quite nice / ok-ish / suck”.Don’t get me wrong, I’m on the quest to find cream that can wow me physically or mentally.Pullulan cream I referred to, was pullulan alone (with or without low xanthan in the formula I can’t remember), nice temporary tightening film-forming effect, felt quite nice on both face and hands but it wasn’t put on sale, it’s just a test formula.
In thick emulsion like cream or butter, 0.2 normal grade xanthan or fantasy gums make no differences on texture and skin feel if your emollient and other part is good enough. The best answer you can get, you might have to try them yourself.
In thinner emulsion like lotion, I can’t say for certain there will be a difference or not from different gum or gums, don’t have much experience with gum in lotion, mostly polymers.Only in water product like gel, serum, toner, spray, blabla - I can feel a hugh difference from different gum or gums even at 0.1 or lower, even when water phase emollient was added. I’m really picky with this type of product.
Graillotion said:gums…vs polymericsa ‘good enough’ product to compete with the polymerics???
It’s not a one winner situation, they have different characteristic textures for different targeted consumers.
Graillotion said:For some reason, I like to keep a basic continuity in my products, across the board. So my very functional products are taking me back to gums. I would like to drag my textural beauties (albeit kicking and screaming) along for the ride. (If possible.)Normally, brand(s) would carry their branding or signature or DNA through out the line. If you rely on only texture as branding, it might be a bit hard to build a brand. But I know you also have other stuffs up in your sleeves too lol.
Graillotion said:who has done a good job with using gums…vs polymerics (amongst those with the big marketing budgets).
Those with the big enough budgets would normally have creams with different textures to please every targeted segments.
Sorry that my answer is not chemistry related.Cheers.
