@Perry maybe I am a latecomer but heard it first from you, what a great suggestion that for blind testing and differentiation.
-
@Bobzchemist someone in one of tbe previous posts mentioned sodium phytate as a chelant, do you think this too will interfere with pigments??
-
@ChicoB My suggestion is based on what I have been doing for years now but what @chemicalmatt suggests has million dollar worth.
-
Adding to what has been correctly suggested thus far, either you can add little olive oil or have to find a grade with a very low lauric acid content and which is I suppose is a tad too difficult.
-
Cocamidopropylbetaine, its readily soluble in water and I never had any solubility issue as such, as for color check with your supplier.
As for the mess of GHTC, wetting is important before you shock it with low pH. -
@Perry I would be interested as well.
-
@Bobzchemist Thanks that makes everything quite comprehensible. But that raises another question, do you need to suspend precipitated silica since it is just an abrasive???
-
@Bobzchemist Are there any fixed standards to make a choice between the two?????? Or the formulation can accommodate both depending on the final properties desired????
I have used Aerosil 200 in my lip gloss (clear) with good suspension of large glitter particles and it was based on Indopol H100 among other things from Scher esters. To tell you frankly it had a good suspension effect in that anhydrous formulation. -
Well I was trying NOT to say that @Perry

@Belassi I have seen some customers in Middle Eastern countries asking for such creams which are edible and can be used while performing certain tasks (your guess is a good as mine)
other than that no idea on marketing front -
REFLECTION AFTER I THINK YOU SHOULD CHANGE BALLS
This is what I got after translation, any comments @charmer???

I suppose acrylates copolymer here are not 100% and it maybe a 30% (which generally is the case and which I have seen) solution but still it’s bit on higher side in the sense that it is going to affect the sensorials. Try using AMP-95 if you can, but as @Perry said try to reduce the dosage of the polymer.
-
@charmer is it possible for you to comment in English so that everyone can be benefitted from your comments

Hope it can provide better stability.

Agree with @Bobzchemist, the simplest amd best suggestion.

Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, IPM and keep coconut oil low as it tends to freeze as well at low temperatures. Try the 2 plant based oils within 5-10% max.

I am not sure what else is there in your formula but @1% alone I suppose u won’t have any perceptible effect. -
@MarkBroussard guess what I came to know in Beautyworld Exhibition that the camel urine product has been rolled out and in the market.
-
@Belassi I tried that combo in my stable PVA mask formula but couldn’t get it right and later on the project was shelved. I would be interested in your results though.
Make sure enough yield value is present to keep them suspended. Big question???
