Thanks. Is the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) applicable I wonder…

My first problem is, I don’t know their location. There is no info on the Web site. I’ve emailed ICANN to see if they can help. I just discovered — this is ridiculous — that if you want to see if a company name has been registered in the USA, you have to do a search on 50 different states.
They have even copied the logo design. -

Watch out for the pH. Keep it 6 or below. If pH is too high it will start to smell of ammonia.
This blend is easy to use. Start by making a 22% solution in deionised water, slowly add CAPB until it thickens. Or sodium cocoamphoacetate. Preservative, 0.4% sodium benzoate works well. Add citric acid to get pH into the range 5 - 5.5 -
Glassware. I have one, 2L, Chinese beaker left. They are too thin and easily break. Pyrex beakers are expensive but thick glass and good quality.

Sure. About $40. 3Kg max, 0.01g accuracy, came with a cover, two calibration weights, power supply… scale pan removable for cleaning. Really excellent. EBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/292651747068?ul_noapp=true
Seriously good purchase. -
Potassium is two above sodium in the EC table. Possibly a replacement reaction producing insoluble sodium cocoate.

When you want to soothe baby’s bottom
all red and sore and whiffy,
you just can’t beat petrolatum
it’ll moisturise in a jiffy.Of course you could use veg oil
Or perhaps an ester or two,
The first is entirely natural,
But is hi-tech better for you?If you enter the silicone jungle,
You’ll not find your way out, ever
Dow has mixed and mingled and mungled
Compounds incredibly clever. And so back to petrolatum,
Greasy and rather inflammable,
Best to stay away from the flame
Or risk a fate worse than terrible. -

You’re obviously getting the same experience that I had. It’s a real shame, I have not found any way of stabilising it — I strongly suspect this is the reason there are no products on the market. -

The product I made works OK; I will add 1% Polyquart H-81. The magnesium is for curl enhancement but it’s only a short term solution.

I never get answers to my questions these days. Well never mind I have sussed it out myself and made the product.

My only worry would be “Heisenberg” turning up with the ingredients to make some blue crystals…
-
OK forget item 1, I finally discovered information about that on a consumer forum. So I’ll omit that.

You need a low HLB emulsifier as well eg glyceryl monostearate
-
No, not really. Try adding say 3% glyceryl monostearate.

Did they consider Cetearyl Alcohol as an emulsifier?
— It IS. -
It doesn’t matter what it is ‘derived from’. Honestly, I believe your problem is psychological. Reading lists and saying that the ingredients are derived from this or that and therefore you’ll react, is, frankly, ridiculous.

The spirulina shampoo slowly degraded over a few weeks, the colour changed from a blue-green to a light green, and the viscosity reduced markedly. When first made, it was super nice. -
Water (infused with calendula and chamomile flowers) - Not well specified. We specify the % of extracts individually. Since these are claims ingredients with no real effect use 0.1% of each.Organic honey — bug food, no value, omit.Silk powder — purpose of this is? 0.2%Colloidal oatmeal — is this an anti-itch cream? maybe 0.2%Cocoa butter — 2%Coconut oil X capric caprylic triglycerides 3%Monoi oil — eh? Try a better claims ingredient eg evening primrose oil 0.2%Emulsifying wax ( emulsimulse) — never used anything like this so I have no idea.
