  Two clarifying shampoo comparison

  These two clarifying shampoos cost the same to produce but have different surfactants and surfactant concentrations. They will be used with a conditioner with cationic surfactant and amodimethicone. Which shampoo will have stronger cleaning powder as a clarifying shampoo?<div>

  Shampoo A

  3% SLS active in powder form

  7% SLES

  1% CAPB

  2% citric acid

  0.1% EDTA

  2% NACL

  pH 7

  Shampoo B

  14% SLES

  1% CAPB

  0.1% EDTA

  2% NACL

  pH 7

  Wash water is very hard water

  I’d guess shampoo A because it has SLS

    I after using both shampoo a few times as shampoo and as face wash, i think shampoo A is milder than B as face wash and my hair also feels better with shampoo A.

    As I don’t have tools to measure the mildness so i am asking you experts, is shampoo a also milder than B or it is just my thinking?
