Hi Everyone, I’ve got some questions about toothpaste.

    1. What is the percentage of Menthol will be suitable?
    2. Camphor is possible, if yes, how much percentage?
    3. What is the choice of preservative, if not Sodium Benzoate?
Thank in advanced for any of comments.

Not really a cosmetics question, but I happen to know that there are quite a few toothpaste patents that will teach you a lot about how to formulate them.

Camphor can be poisonous.  It has no business being in a toothpaste.

I heard that during the roman empire, they were using rat brains as toothpaste. Is that true?
