    Hi All,

    what is best to use as thicker and emulsifier in water based foundation with Silicones?
    Carbomer or sorbitol

    Neither carbomer nor sorbitol are emulsifiers.  Sorbitol is not a thickener.

    Carbomer can sort-of act as an emulsifier but technically I think it isn’t an emulsion but a suspension.

    Pemulen + Carbomer will work.
