    You will need to be more specific. “Hair products” encompasses a wide variety of formula types.

    Mainly just shampoo’s, conditioners and leave in treatments

    can anybody suggest the  ratio of emulsifier :oil ratio in o/w.if the emulsifier is soap or other common emulsifiers like cetostearyl or GMS

    “best” depends on at least three factors:

    time
    type of product
    equipment you can afford

    @mikeyd Most stability testing is conducted by placing samples into varying temperature conditions. 45C, Room Temp, Refrigerator/5C, and Freeze/Thaw. You can test emulsions by centrifuging them as well.

    You can also use a centrifuge to see if separation will occur. This is specially useful for conditioners (rinse off and leave on)
