    hello all!

does anyone have a good olivem 1000 formula that doesnt use too much olivem 1000 ? I only can use cetyl alcohol, steric acid, sodium lauryol lactylate and glyceryl stearate as other emulsifiers..

Just curious - Why do you want an “olivem 1000” formula if you don’t want to use it? :)

Olivem 1000 generally is required at 6% to 8% to form stable emulsions in creams, but although it is advertised as a stand alone emulsifier, that really is not the case in actual practice.

    For Creams:
    Olivem 1000  6%
    Glyceryl Stearate  2%
    Cetyl Alcohol 2%
    Xanthan Gum 0.2%
    For Lotions:
    Olivem 1000  3%
    Glyceryl Stearate 2%
    Cetyl Alcohol 1%
    Xanthan Gum 0.2%
