If I remove beeswax, vaselin and carbomer , it becomes so thin…
-
I tried this formula too
a water 70%/ carbomer 0.2%/ weath germ extract/ propylen glycol 5%/ methyl paraben
b liquid paraffin 5%/ polysorbate80 1%/ beeswax 1%/ vaselin 1%/ jojoba oil 0.8%/ cetyl alcohol 1.5%/ TEA 0.2%/ peg12-dimethicone 0.5%/ propyl paraben 0.1%
still I cant spray it (viscosity is high), but the emulsion isnt stable after several days( it seperates)
maybe its better to decrease carbomer again and increase polysorbate 80

@tonyh not very much opaque I mean cloudy.. I added cetearyl alcohol after above hair mask produced,it becomes cloudy but emulsion seperates..
another issue is that I want to spary it but viscosity is high… -
cetyl alcohol has required HLB= 15

@perry I think numbers in polyquaterniums are about their degree of polimerization…
-
@ bob how ssdc finds that part among all these courses
-
ok quaterniums are preservatives or conditioners?
-
opacifier
what If I add cetearyl alocoh? -
I thinks it(opulyn 301) is just useful for shower gels or shampoos

it means that after 10 minutes after using u feel nothing on ur hair…
opulyn 301 is ok? -
@bobzchemist I saw in one of ur comments that u said the shampoo with pH=4 is more effective and more safe for hair
-
it was but its ok now, just some changes were exerted
-
Oxybenzone is also used for stabilize avobenzone…
-
@millia u r always right
what about ZPTO and climbazol? I saw in some papers that ZPT/Climbazole shampoo has superior efficacy -
@miko do u think NaCl can affect the viscosity of shampoo with natural surfactant( without any anion)? I dont think so.
