    @Irina tudor

    1 quick piece of advice: never add water to an alcohol solution, that’s asking for trouble (due to polarity> solubility issues, most fragrance raw materials are not soluble in water).

    Hi Irina, here I have fragrance, water and alcohol. so whats the best way to dissolve fragrance ? how I can mix them to have least amount of HCO?

    @belassi Ethanol has both water loving(oH) and water avoiding(CH3) groups. so it can dissolve both polar and nonpolar substances.

    @belassi another point is that for antidandruff effect the percentage TTO  is 5% like this paper:

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12451368 so how 0.1 could be effective?

    @belassi be sure that laureth is milder than luaryl( if it has ammonium or sodium). but my question is that is there any difference between Na and Ammonium in irritatancy or they are same?

    @bobzchemis yesterday I did what you said:

    I mixed 3.02g fragrance+ 51g ethanol(  clear solution) then I added 31g water(becomes completly cloudy) . I titrated the batch dropwise(with PEG40HCO) until it clears. The grams was 0.62g. The batch was completly clear yesterday but today its cloudy.I dont know why!!!! maybe it needs more HCO or maybe because of temperature( 21C).

    hydroquinon has side effects,maybe this website would be beneficial. Arbutin and retinoid are so effective in whitening.

    @chemicalmatt so the best way is that I add fragrance to my surfactants(here is amphoteric and little anionic) and then add them to other ingredients?

     @perry <Polysorbate 80 has a lower HLB value 15 versus Polysorbate 20 (HLB 16.5) so that could have something to do with it.> whats relation between HLB and solubilizing? the higher HLB the higher solubility in water, just for this?
