you are welcome @Amira actually there are a lot of mild no irritating surfactans and here is the list of four groups of mild no irritating surfactants and you can eliminate soduim ones to find your disered surfactants.

@em88 what are the incompatibilities with HEC ?

@Amira the disered product should have conditioner “polyquaterniums” , vegeteble oils as ” olive oil , aragan oil” wich help a lot for keeping healthy hair and even protein or keratin to repair the hair. For surfactants it will be better to use mild ones as you said. The ph of shampoo is also important for hair so it should be between 7 and 5 and it will be better to have slightly acid shampoo .
For soduim free it is clear that shampoo must not have soduim whatever even for the surfactants.

@Gunther  I made the same constatation , but even it seems strange that what experiences gave and the stranger That this study used just SLES as other surfactant with CAPB. So as first impression SLES supposed can not reduce the irritant effect of CAPB However the experiences proved the opposit.

@shaujaat for cost you can decrease the level of IPA or even to replace it with ethanol and about effecacity i already made glass cleaner without vinegar and it works good so you just need to find the adequat levels of each ingredients.

@shaujaat you don’t need to make vinegar to make glass cleaner you can just use water, isopropanol , preservative , perfume and colorant if you want.

hi @shireen make your Lol in percentage to have more suggestions and for stearic acid i see it used not at high level so check ph of your product if it is good then no need to neutralisation unless you can use NaOh to do it.

@erickafalves actually my interpretarion matching the decreasing of ph and changing fragrance note that your perfumes in product are not stable enough so as probable solution i suggest to add more preservative or change it  that’s may solve your problem.

@UsmanAli actually ph between 10 and 11 is real problem for skin and it is normal to cause irritation ph should be generally in cosmetic below 8.
