  what ingredients shall add to hair gel to make looks shine on hair and also the product itself doesnt appear brilliant although i added mono propylene glycol and peg 400

  try polysorbate 80 to be added in ur formula

  @enzinhoo try silicones or C12-15 alkylbenzoate but may it will decrease the transperency of gel.

  PEG-8 Dimethicone adds some nice shine. But as Fekher said it reduces transparency (but not much).

  Read on Aquastyle 300, this could be a good choice for overall performance enhancement.
