The weight ratio of TEA/NAOH is 3.73: so on a weight basis for 0.5 ounces of NAOH use 1,87 ounces of TEA.

I have had the same experience with polypeptides in cosmetics-good consumer feedback followed by high purchase-re-purchase.

You can adjust Ph to 4-5 and use parabens —phenoxyethanol/ethyl hexyly/glycerine.Benzoic acid will work also. Avoid preservatives containing an amino group/s.

The best way to support a claim for your finished product (cosmetic) is via a test either in-vitro or in vivo:small panel tests of 30 people will tell you consumer perceived attributes while in-vitro such as Franz cell for skin penetration will support the science. Most often one has to do both.

Ammonia is released at Ph 7 and above so at 5 -6 you can use BA—-Phenoxyethanol parabens and so on.

You are right as we did this!Contact supplier and request preservative you want in your ALS to be the same as you are using in final product.Ask for designation on drums you buy i.e. TRade Name. JSJ special.

@Lainee Yes i would remove particularly cabosil as it has no reason for being and both may be your grit problem.I dont think homogenizer will do it.You need to mix in a ball mill to grind particles similar to paint coatings:using Hegerman grind gauge until smooth.

MemberJuly 29, 2017 at 3:21 pm in reply to: Which product tests should I have done?Accelerated stability you can do for two year shelf life: do four weeks at 50C and monitor ph viscosity color odor phase stability.also do 6 cycles of freeze/thaw and hold a sample at ambient temp 21C and monitor after 6-months -1 and 2 years. We do this routinely on all products we market and we have marketed hundreds without a recall. For us it is a verifiable science. All you need is a freezer and oven. You should do preservation USP 51-400USD and when you can do RIPT for safety(as i explained above) or at least run occulsive patch test for primary skin irritation.
-
NO Looks like they did not: ask why they didn’t do preservation USP 51 as needed by your company prior to marketing. Also they should do viscosity. Are temperature and Time listed on certificate?

i think you are saying or want to say heat is inversely proportional to the % strength of H2O2 to provide lightening with minimal damage during use.In other words the higher the temp the less concentrated the H2O2 needed to lighten with minimal damage. You are a salon guy what about time ?
