I currently use 0.9% phenoxyethanol +0.1% caprylyl Glycol +0.2% EDTA in shampoo. The only problem is that it reduces the viscosity.
 What percentage of active DMDM hydantoin in combination with what preservative do you recommend?

I have phenoxyethanol, caprylyl Glycol, glyceryl Caprylate, caprylhydroxamic acid and Piroctone Olamine.

@SugarHouse interestingly i was allergic to this blend of benzyl alcohol and DHA. 

At what % were you using sodium benzoate and what pH?
Do you have any data that people are allergic to it or just your observation?

People don’t care if it is SLS or sarcosinate. Look what does the shampoo that most people use have. SLS.

This mean most people don’t care about SLS.

@Perry maybe some people don’t notice but some will if the data shows they are milder. I will go for ALS to replace SLS in my shampoo.
