Can you make a stable cream? If no then first learn that.
I would use 2% arbotin and 5% niacinamide. I won’t use those other ingredients

I did comment in a discussion but wasn’t able to find the option how to edit it on my phone. It only has replay option. I have to switch to disktop mode and then edit it.

For emulsion 1 or 3 + 2 and pH below 4.7 or another any fungal.
Don’t forget chelating agent too.

Make a 20% solution instead of 27%. It is much easier to make.
I usually make ~2L of 20% solution in ~2 minutes and use it in my samples.
-
You can use a preservative or you can increase the pH to 11-12 and it will be self preserved. <div>
Why is your pH 8-9?
Why you dilute it to 27%?
In my experience diluting to 27% is difficult and time consuming.
</div>

Just write your formula in percentage and the production method
-
Maybe in an excel sheet

MemberFebruary 22, 2023 at 10:17 pm in reply to: Guar gum + xanthan gum as a suspension agent? In the blend only xanthan gum has suspension powder. Synergy is only for viscosity @ ratio 8:2 guar: xanthan. If they are using high amount of gum it may not be pleasant for hair.

What temperature minimum?
Is 0°c enough?

MemberMarch 3, 2023 at 6:54 am in reply to: Looking for dry & non-greasy emollient - any recommendations?Dimethicone is equally naturally derived compared to isoamyl laurate or coco-caprylate/caprate. <div>
</div><div>
</div><div>What is your definition of naturally derived? </div><div>
</div><div>
</div><div>
</div><div>If your definition is taking something that naturally exists and modify it in lab then dimethicone and isoamyl laurate is the same according to this definition. </div>The only difference is that dimethicone is not plant based.

Is this the amount of nacl that increases the risk of instability or it’s ratio with total surfactants?
For example in a liquid foam wash with 2.7% total surfactants i use 1.8% nacl. The ratio nacl: surfactant is 1:1.5 in both formulas.
Will this also have such chance of instability even it has low nacl but high compared to amount of surfactant?
And what type of testing will predect such instability?
-
Can you tell me why you don’t like that mach nacl?
What is the side effect of that much or even higher nacl?
During use the Product gets diluted at least 10 times and it will be less than 1% nacl during application.
-
You can create a new discussion and write your formula too so we can see what is the problem.

Dimethicone does a lot of things. Skin protection, reducing soaping, spreadability, anti tackiness and more.
I don’t think anything is like dimethicone.

MemberFebruary 28, 2023 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Is it weight percentage or mole percentage in a formula that matters most? You are correct. No big difference on those two percentages.
My point was about the synergy that it has with for example CAPB. That patent was from p&g and i am sure they have checked that at what ratio it provides best synergy.
These percentages are not much different but they my not have they same synergy with CAPB and that make the difference a bit bigger. Or maybe not ????

Hi
First you need to go to a category then you can aks your question there
-
I have sold two formulas and that format had extra many extra features + one of them with one year after sale support and one of them life time support.
Writing INCI name+ manufacturing method is the minimum necessary
