@Perry so this stringiness of Shampoo doesn’t have an effect on hair and scalp?
Does increasing the salt reduce stringiness?
If yes, is it the more salt the less stringiness or it is something like salt curve? -
@Perry if you smell the salt from very close it has a weak but unique smell. Although these Shampoos don’t have salt, they smell like they have a lot of salt when you put them on scalp.
About orange essential oil degrading, what would be the problem? (This batch of oil, this supplier of oil or this oil and we should try another essential oil?)

EntrepreneurAugust 5, 2020 at 3:34 am in reply to: Ingredients not to use with cocamide DEA@Perry here it says “Nitrosamines may be formed in cosmetic and personal care products only if they contain both an ingredient that acts as a Nitrosating agent and an amine ingredient”.
What is Nitrosating agent?
Does it mean all amines( cocamide DEA, MEA, MIPA, Methyl MEA) or some of them specifically?

EntrepreneurJuly 18, 2020 at 10:18 am in reply to: Thickening Non-Ionic and Amphoteric surfactants@Zara do you know how to use HEC?
It is water soluble and can mix very easily buy after mixing you have to increase the pH to 8-10 for it to get thickened. And then you can decrease the pH back.
Decyl glucoside is very hard to thicken and you would need more HEC. Lauryl and coco Glucoside is not so difficult. -

It is very thick an no separation after 4 days. I want to know if this separation for other people happened when formulating, after some time or they haven’t tried it by themselves -
