@cheekychooky, re-post your formula as @MarkBroussard indicated so we can have a dialogue and let us know how your formula turned out.

@Fekher, have you actually tried the beeswax/borax combo yourself? I think I tried it once about 20 years ago and ended up with a hot mess. Never tried it again.

@bsingle - why not post your formula along with the percentages and include your process. I bet you’d get more suggestions.

The trade name is Purasal NH/COS. I believe you need a prescription to purchase a cream containing this ingredient, although I did find it on Amazon through an online pharmacy and was able to put it in my shopping cart. Hmm…

I was introduced to it recently when a rep from Bumble and Bumble came to our spa to introduce their Scalp Detox product. Lots of cracking upon application. It was kinda cool.

This botanical complex may be of interest. They also carry calendula as a single extract as well.

Hi @goldie, I’d agree the 1% line is probably the fragrance. Look up the ingredients to determine their function in the formula. I hadn’t heard of many of them, so I looked them up for my own knowledge. Many of the ingredients listed before the fragrance are emollients, skin softening agents, and humectants. Everything after fragrance seems to be emulsion stabilizers, viscosity enhancers, various preservatives, etc. The last 3 ingredients are components that occur naturally in fragrance. Once you determine the function of the ingredients you’ll need to find out the usage rate and take it from there. Perhaps some of the chemists’ll chime in.
I recently stumbled upon a YouTube video titled “Cosmetic Formulating - Create A Formula From An LOI” by some guy named Perry
I think he might know a thing or two (wink) Check it out.

@MarkBroussard, of course I’m assuming your tables are quite large…
