    Where can I find this chemical in the USA? Does it come in a plant derived form? Does anybody have any experience with this in creams or in gels?  Any formulation advice? Does this play well with sal acid and lactic acid?—- HELP

    This isn’t one chemical, it’s ammonium lactate or urea.

    I am still rather confused about this raw material.  Do you know where I can get this material?  Does a product made with this material require a prescription?

    The trade name is Purasal NH/COS. I believe you need a prescription to purchase a cream containing this ingredient, although I did find it on Amazon through an online pharmacy and was able to put it in my shopping cart. Hmm…
