I encountered this discoloration when I used Radianskin on our spot correcting cream. It turned to “brownish cream” after few months. Try to do elimination process because when we remove this active on our formulation, it did not discolor.

@ngarayeva001, I tried using Polysorbate 20 and Cetiol HE and was able to get “milky effect” when wet.
thanks so much for your insight.

@ngarayeva00 does KYMF-1 (INCI NAME: Acrylates Copolymer) provides emulsification? or do you have particular emulsifier in mind?
    thanks.

@ngarayeva00 , yes the LOI is lifted from a hand sanitizer formula because that is how i see the product. :(
@Gunther , yes we are looking into the actuator of the spray pump. however, when we tested the product using a regular pump , the product still works as a face mist.
    @Fekher , final pH is around 6.5.
@Microformulation, yes looking at the LOI is the most effective solution. However, the client provided the sample and she got it on INCOS ASIA convention.

    Hi Perry,
I tried transferring part of the sample into a regular pump and still it worked just how it does on its original packaging.

    here is the formula
    water qs to 100
    carbomer 0.40
    edta 0.10
    alcohol 60
    tea 0.15
viscosity is slightly viscous but the client want something in gel form.
when i tried increasing carbomer, it doesn’t work as i want it to be.
benchmark is Gel Mist by Beauty Lab

@Bobzchemist @David08848 @johnb thank you all for your thoughts but i have proposed to make powder detergents on our scrap and then dont like the idea because of too many process involved.

@johnb we melted the soap bar with some water at high temperature but it goes back to its soap characteristic after some time. we wanted to convert it to body wash at least.

@mikethair what if we used sediment filtration on our tap water? we have used this type of water for so long (10years) and we would like to know the guarantee of using other types of water in production.

do we have standard mixing time and humidity in compounding? so you think baume of lye solution does not affect quality of the product? another thing, what is the recommended humidity in the controlled curing area?
thanks for the information guys. :)
