You could try a titration method. For example

MemberSeptember 27, 2021 at 11:30 pm in reply to: Creamy Moisturizing and Detangling ShampooThe honey and coconut milk will overwhelm your preservative and offer no perceivable benefit. Either remove them or reduce to 0.01% if they are for marketing. As Perry mentioned the butter and oil will reduce the effectiveness of your shampoo so reduce these to 0.01% as well. That amount of Decyl glucoside is very high as is the AOS. Have a look at some starting formulations to get an idea of what the recommended usage rates are. -
Companies like Ethique and Tirtyl are doing similar things so have at look at them for inspiration. To find starting formulations start here

There are many of these types of products on the market. Start by looking at what they use.Laundry Powders are already sold worldwide and you generally don’t need to add water before use so I am not sure what advantage you would give customers by creating a product you need to add water too before using.

Does your formula contain glycerin?Synthetic glycerin can be manufactured from propene using epichlorohydrin. Most glycerin is usually manufactured from plant sources due to costs.

That formula doesn’t contain any liquids to make it a liquid so no it won’t work.Have a look hereand here

Have a look at some starting formulations for laundry liquids to find out what else is added to laundry liquid formulations. UL Prospector and Stepan (https://www.stepan.com/content/stepan-dot-com/en/products-markets/formulation-finders.html) are good places to start.

So if you pay them and tell them it has low levels of impurities they will give it a rating of 1 and you can get your product certified. This doesn’t mean companies that don’t want to pay to have their product certified are using CAPB with high levels of impurities but to consumers it may look this way. -
What temperature are you heating to? It sounds like something isn’t melting properly at the larger scale.

Can you add any ethanol to the room spray? This often helps. I use around 10%.If possible try reducing your essential oil blends to 1%. They should still give a great fragrance at this level.

We have had success with Euxyl K701 (Phenoxyethanol (and) Benzoic Acid (and) Dehydroacetic Acid (and) Ethylhexylglycerin) which is similar. We use a chelator (GLDA) and keep the pH at around 5.5.

Oils and butter really have no place in shampoos and as Paprik mentioned you are basically just reducing the cleaning ability of your shampoo. Save them for the conditioner.Aloe vera is really just microbial “bug food” and will put strain on your preservative system.Swift Crafty Monkey’s blog is a scientific based blog that is great for beginners (paid subscription min$1/month)or have a look here for some free starting formulations

Sunscreens are serious business and in some countries they are classified as drugs/medicines.If you still want to proceed you will need to have the product tested to ensure that you are achieving the correct SPF.It is is not simply a case of adding some ZnO to a face cream. I would recommend hiring a formulator with experience in sunscreens.

There is a little bit of information in this article. It is best to just contact the supplier to confirm what packaging is best.

This looks for like a conditioner formulation with a bit of surfactant thrown in so it is no wonder you are having issues. Are you trying to create a cleansing conditioner or an opaque/creamy/pearlescent looking shampoo? Here are some starting formulations that might be of interest.

MemberJuly 1, 2021 at 10:20 pm in reply to: Stabilizing surfactants in an anhydrous emulsionI remember this similar type of formula from Innospec https://personalcaremagazine.com/formulation-details/2564/bubble-scrub-butter where it required the addition of sodium chloride. Not sure if that would help in this case but it might be worth a try.

Try reducing the Propylene Glycol or removing it as this can reduce viscosity. Also Cetrimonium Chloride is generally not recommended with anionic surfactants and may also be causing some issues. You already have polyquat 10 so probably don’t need this.

Change the colour and use a different dye2. Put the product in an opaque or amber bottle3. Get a UV blocking additive added to your clear PET bottle. This is more expensive than standard bottles. It is done during manufacture of the bottle and minimum order quantities are generally required. -
This might help (see page 3)
