this is a good formula it can create and big bubbles i think you’re looking for that i would recommend you to switch to SLES(70%) and reducing the percentage of CAPB and adding SDBS also check with your regulation 3% CDEA is not allowed in some places. i hope it helps

No i mean the addition order also if you can use less LABS instead increase the SLES in dishwashing formulations most commercial companies are using less LABS these days also optionally try adjusting the ph to 6~7 anionic surfactants work well at acidic pH that means sadly you have to avoid amphoteric surfactants because in acidic pH they become cationic and react with the anionic which will cause further complications try this also if you have access to TEA try using it can increase the active matter according to some book i read but its worth trying i hope this helps

in another formulation i made the same formula without the LABS its still the same

  • there’s no pH change my pH was 5.5 its still 5.5 the reason i did that is because anionics foam better at lower pH but the color is stable now in normal conditions i removed the CAPB in my formula it was interacting with my SDBS and salt unfavorably i guess
i saw on youtube that storing the product in the freezer for 24 hours and taking it out was one way to test the color stability

i have seen that happen too i have been testing the formula with different concentration of SLES as i’ve been checking it for 4 weeks there’s no ph change nor sedimentation but i have noticed that the fragrance changes i think it’s the SDBS especially because i didn’t neutralize it fully at ph of 5 also the ph of the product hasn’t changed im thinking its the salt because i added a different salt after a day to make the product more thick

there is no visible difference maybe the fragrance changes but i assume it’s not the fragrance because the fragrance because it always changes in other formulas but the others aspect of the product doesn’t change its the same i will definitely try this testing method thank you so much
also formalin is allowed in my country as a preservative

i use salt but i don’t get the desired viscosity i found that when i use salt and CAPB the product becomes jelly but then the foaming ability isn’t really good
