Professional Chemist / FormulatorFebruary 2, 2022 at 3:48 pm in reply to: Math equation for pH adjusting?I agree totally with @CedarS so @siouxchem
May Math equation pH can help for prediction a near value(and may not also because it contains a lot of suppositions) however it will be more accurate and even easier to do the desired experience may a suggestion to have just your adequate borders for having a start point is seeing the molecular mass for every reactif and their coefficients in the reaction equation. -

Professional Chemist / FormulatorFebruary 2, 2022 at 3:29 pm in reply to: Coco Glucoside and Cocamidopropyl Betaine@Cosmetic_Chemist I guess your formulation can work just the amount of active surfactants should be adequate, but there is no need for liquid hand soap to use glucoside I guess using SLES will be more economic and effective.

Professional Chemist / FormulatorOctober 6, 2021 at 4:55 pm in reply to: How do I increase Foaming of a mousse@Emanuela More active surfactants more foam generally.
-
@Lva it is normal because you used very low level of surfactants them easier thing increase the level of sulfonic acid and the adequate amount of caustic soda.
-
@Perry same suspect I guess that the problem from isopropyl alcohol because osmosed water can’t make that however the degree of Alcohol is 99,9% then it is diluted so can less then 0,1 % do that??!
And what can be the precipitation?!!
Any way thanks for your guess. -

Professional Chemist / FormulatorFebruary 5, 2021 at 10:56 am in reply to: HELP!!! my hand wash formulation still foaming after rinse@Wanhebat a lot of correction can be done, reducing the level of DEA is the most effective solution for your formulation then no need to use both glycerin and monopolylene glycol , use just one with low level.
