@Devesh327 i guess for your goal we can play with things
Reduce ingredients (castor oil, carnauba wax) which cause glossy effect 69% as average in your formulation then it is soo logical to have glossy effect.
Then the idea of @grapefruit22 is good by adding clay for more matt finish. -

* First without input : so I will suggest to decrease the level of glycerin, sesame oil and cetyl alcohol and all amount will go for petroleum jelly.
* Second with input (already proposed) change sesame oil with better oil may mineral oil can one of them, add some ester as IPM, some butter as Shea, add some silicone and may changing the emulsifier.

@Camel according to what you reach the maximum level of sodium carbomer, actually it is clear with sush level of carbomer viscosity will not be good for hair gel.

Foam and viscosity doesn’t matt@Abdullah you are welcome it is very good preservative according to my experience Euxyl k120 with level between 0.05% and 0.1% just shampoo as you know it has not only anionic surfactants because you said ” what anionic preservative”

I agree totally with @CedarS so @siouxchem
May Math equation pH can help for prediction a near value(and may not also because it contains a lot of suppositions) however it will be more accurate and even easier to do the desired experience may a suggestion to have just your adequate borders for having a start point is seeing the molecular mass for every reactif and their coefficients in the reaction equation. -
@Cosmetic_Chemist I guess your formulation can work just the amount of active surfactants should be adequate, but there is no need for liquid hand soap to use glucoside I guess using SLES will be more economic and effective.

@Perry henna is more then perfume effect it can be used for hair’s colouration for sure and may can make hair more healthy.

MemberOctober 16, 2021 at 2:59 pm in reply to: At what pH would CAPB act as cationic surfactant in shampoo?@Abdullah I guess in acid pH CAPB works as cationic surfactant and in basic pH works as anionic surfactant.

@Abdullah very interesting thanks a lot for share, just there is big difference in price between the price of SLES in 2020 which is, 960/MT and 1205/MT for April

@Abdullah exactly N70 is the trade name of SLES, About importation from Chine i’am not sure the most important thing is quality price rapport so I don’t want have the lowest price with low quality. If you have some offer of suppliers and prices please let me know and thanks in advance.
