Above or below it’s isoelectric point which is 4.8@Abdullah soo strange adding salt for such system is it for viscosity or preservation boost or what?! I guess cationic have preservative property then is not strange to have good stability.

Above or below it’s isoelectric point which is 4.8@Abdullah very interesting what you are doing just in theoric 0.5% cationic +fa seems as a weak emulsifier combination but I guess the secret is using petrolatum in oil phase that gives more stability for emulsion product. Keep making original things brother ????

Just update I tried the product in my hair so SA is not known as hair conditioner however I feel that it gives some conditioning effect for the hair near to the PQ 7. -
@Betto3 I guess in opposite sodium stearate will increase the hardness of soap, I suggest to use a saponifacation calculator to see the effect try https://calc.mendrulandia.es/?lg=en

@amitvedakar Euxyl k120 is my actual preservative for my products , it is effective and economical however you should be careful in hot process because the temperature of add for it is 40 °C or below.

@starlord13 not necessary, the most important is working for the water’s quality and adding chelating agent sush EDTA as @ketchito mentioned can help little bit.
-
@starlord13 I guess the ratio is not bad however the total surfactant level is low try to increase it, then the quality of water effects the foam of your product lower minerals higher foam.

@Anca_Formulator in that case you have right just I told that in general case because a lot insist for natural ingredients however it is not always obligation or best choice.
-
@chrystad72 i’am totally agree with @ozgirl I guess the level of use mentioned is not for all products and I guess you should work with used level to have your ordinary product.
-
@Anca_Formulator I guess looking for natural ingredients is fake problem the most important thing that ingredients are safe then functional.
-
@chemicalmatt @Bill_Toge can carbopol aqua sf-1 be good thickener for liquid soap with actif surfactant lower then 10%? because I read that it works for 10% actif surfactant.
-
Hi @Bebalevis I wish that you will give an interesting add for the forum as you have good profile then for your request I guess @Perry can help
-
@Newtoformulating actually I see that you are using carefully your ingredients sush AMP as neutralizer and Acudyne 1000 as styling agent wich gave me a sensation that you are professional formulator ????.
About the preservative Euxyl k940 it seems fine may just you should work for the needed level of it.
I feel curious about the texture of your product is it wax, gel or gel wax ? Then how the hair will be by using it , crunchy as the gel or smooth as oil based pomade?
