@Paprik actually I know about hlb o/w, w/o emulsion even I know that anionic aren’t compatible with anionic just forgot that neutralised CARBOMER is anionic, however I don’t know scientific information that says kaolin will not be stable with w/o as you said.

@Paprik preservative is methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone. Why using w/o emulsion destabilizes my formula?

@Paprik nice explanation however when I used only GMS with CARBOMER I have the same problem.(supposed their is no stability issue for no ionic with anionic not?)

The origin formulation contains GMS and CARBOMER may be increasing their level better then using only BTMS. -

@Abdullah mild is more general than less drying so I guess it is impossible to make free tear shampoo with only CAPB and SLES. About MPG it is for dissolving easier and faster xanthan gum then it is for reducing drying effect.

@Paprik I supposed that MPG is know ???? and yes it is monopropylen glycol then is it compatible using pq7 in presence of xanthan gum?

@Abdullah actually when the formulation contains pq10 without glycerin it was drying however adding glycerin decrease a lot that effect.

What about adding some glycerin (or /and) butyl glycol to improve the quality of gel cleanser?

Update using : water, CAPB, cocoglucoside, CDEA, PQ 10 I could reach acceptable viscosity but still lower then ordinary shampoo. Just for drying purpose I added 5 % (glycerin/MPG) then it gives better conditioning effect for hair and no drying effect however the bad surprise in such level foam decrease a lot.
So i’am thinking to make tests with different level of (glycerin/MPG) to decrease drying effect and preserve acceptable foam

@Abdullah maybe some low cost powder can be choice.

@ketchito actually I tried the product evry thing is fine viscosity, foam, conditioning effect and. no tear. The system cocoglucoside, CAPB can’t not reach acceptable viscosity with slat, may be there are other good thickners but I find DEA coco amide soo effective for both foam and viscosity. For famous brands I found that i’am in the good way the main ingredients are CAPB, glucoside coside derived.
