Before adding it to detergent you have prepare it for this

You should pour it into water use electric heater to dissolve it completely then pour little bit caustic soda after that it gets thick then add it in detergent I hope you will get good results

Change storage tank maybe it’s unwashed storage tank bad smells if bad smells persist then use formaldehyde ihope it’s bad odour go away

1 kg LABSA takes 180 grams caustic soda
For this you take 180 grams caustic soda + 180 grams water to make lye
First dissolve LABSA IN WATER then caustic soda solution
