arbutin can neutralize melanin on layer 2. But it can not do anything to dark spots on outer layer. B3 can stop melanin cells to spread to other cells

Lavender oil . I usually use lavender flowers to repellent mosquitoes at our deck in the summer time. Smell good and repellent mosquitoes.

@EVchem , the pure vitamin C has pH < 2.5 . That means the skin can be irritated? We have to use NaOH to bring pH to > 3.5
with pH > 3.5 the vitamin C still effective? -
My experience on cetyl alcohol is that it is thickener and also emulsifier.
