UV filter will help with light but heat implies hydrolytic instability.I would just change the colorant.

As Mark said at PH 5 use Gluconolacone/BA (Geoguard ULtra0 which is good preservative and GLA moisturizes and buffers ph.1-1.5% should be sufficient.

Keep Ph at 7 for shampoo and the rest should be easy.Test at 10% dilution for ocular irritation using iv-vitro HEtCam.Have used variations of Baby Shampoo for this application should you want a mildness claim but consider RM costs.

I agree and went all through this at JNJ. Why go through an NDA with retinol which is a pro-drug and goes to all Trans retinoic acid in vivo?.Same is true for analogs of T-resveratrol as triacetyl analog is stable but is converted back to T-RES in melanocytes. both have cosmetic attributes so why not use them and avoid drug claims.I was at JNJ when they acquired ROC for the very reason we are discussing this.

if it looks like water and as per density acts like water:it likely is-and an aqueous mish mosh of unpreserved herbal extracts some of which likely have a preservative which protects raw material(hopefully) but product is suspicious to say the least.

You should be able to pass preservation with 1% benzyl alcohol alone if PH is 7-9

Sounds like air as we had similar so sonicate or pull vacuum —Drying likely due to water loss.What resin are you using for package?

With Na benzoate as per Chemac you have to be at PH 4-5 but have passed USP 51 with either BA or DHA alone.BA works well even at PH 9-used in OTC Antacids-
