    Hello @@Abdullah
I have Amodimethicone and i know it can’t solve easily. it can use for another hair care product. but you can use ‘PEG 12 dimethicone’  as softening agent in shampoo. it can solve in it.

    Hello
     I
used poly quat 10 in 0/5 %. it was good but not perfect, but i was
wondering if Amodimethicone can solve in shampoo easily or it needs to
    be emulsifed?

Hi Andraous. What is your solvent? you need a cheap solvent,In my idea  your hair conditioner shouldn’t  be much oily. That’s it.

I suggest as Belassi said, you should try PEG-150 distearate, It worked when i tested.

    Hello @ketchito
There are many reason to be confused, your idea is correct when i use Disodium laureth solfosuccinate as anionic surfactant but It depends on which  anionic surfactant i use, I changed my mind when i used Sodium Laureth Sulfate as anionic surfactant, It became thickened as much as it could.
I  really appreciate for your comment

@Belassi yes, you are right, but i used this shampoo and i feel great, That is the most reason i want to use it, My goal is making creamy shampoo. Anyway Thanks for comment taking your time.

I solved this problem by HPMC, But biphasic problem is still here

@chemicalmatt Thanks for your helpful comment, It works until now, I extremely appreciate you, I am trying some kind of thickeners. Thanks

@Belassi Thanks for your comment,I have this problem too. I was going to make creamy shampoo with cetyl alcohol and PEG 150
Distearate.I mix them and add to water phase in 70 c. the interesting
point is the solution became transparent and clear, however i used cetyl
alcohol. i don’t any idea about that. The thickener has done correctly without being creamy.  Then i made another shampoo with
PEG 150 Distearste, I add cetyl alcohol at the end of process and it
was creamy WITH LOW VISCOSITY. would you like to comment ?
    Thanks in advance

high viscosity is caused to separate longer, but the most problem is your emulsifier, change it, mix your emulsifier with oils phase, then add to water phase.

@chemistry8303, here are suggestions, not knowing your order of addition (important), you need a greater level of cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) in this. CAPB is the amphoteric hydrotrope here and you need more of it. Reduce the anionics accordingly until you have a ratio 2 - 3: 1 anionics to amphoteric. Next, reduce or DEL PolyQ-22, it is redundant. If PolyQ-10 is dispersed properly (1st ingredient in and hydrated 100% before the next) and at the right level (~0.50%), that will be all you need. Remember quats, even polymeric ones,  are inherently destabilizing in classic shampoo systems. Also, the first addition after the PolyQ-10 at 70 - 75C should be the CAPB, then the cetyl alcohol & TG, then amide, anionics last. Next, DEL the decyl glucoside; it is only interfering with the rest, not adding anything, plus is a notorius viscosity reducer. Finally, after blending this at 70 - 75C, cool SLOWLY, so slow you get bored.

Thanks for your quick answer, sorry I am new in this group,i am not experienced. to be honest i need to rise my awareness about making hair care products because of my job. unfortunately there isn’t  any book for studying this kind of information in my country except internet, I try to collect data and then by using them i  formulate something i need, however  finding those ingredients would be the second problem. oh sorry for  my long comments.
I am going to follow your advise.
    thanks alot

    Hello
In my experience, it needs 10 kilo LABSA against almost 1 kilo NaOH, THEN adjust PH with TEA.

    Hello
In my experience , quat 10 is better and softener than quat 7 for curly hair. you can use it in 2% .
