Thanks @chemicalmatt, I am using few enzymes in my liquid laundry detergent and it helps a lot. I have recently formulated a clear bleach gel with 6% active peroxide, do you think I could use an enzyme here as well??? The pH is around 4.6

Source, country of origin, process, purity and more importantly whats the reputation of the company selling at such low prices, its all relative.

The micelles will surround the dirt particle, strip it off from the fabric, surface or whatever it is being used for but then there is more to it like anti-redeposition agents and its a different story. If I am not wrong reduction of CMC denotes higher efficiency of surfactants meaning you would require less of it to reach there.
Mentors please correct me if I have erred. -
I agree with @Bobzchemist, in fact it is common here in our region that if it is a water based product then don’t ever make a mistake of buying it from there. Forget the ingredient list, the first issue you would face is improper preservation and inconsistent batches.

Dont forget to use an alkali to neutralize carbomer.
@Belassi this is a multi-faith and multi-cultural forum and you are a very respected member of it, I am sure you have better things to share with all of us. -
@braveheart someone with a similar situation like yours but ended up throwing it away
without asking around.

@Bobzchemist wow I had no idea about that water soluble dye usage in a negligible quantity yet having an effect. Gonna try it in the first place, great insight again.

Make a solution of oil dispersible pigment in paraffin oil (say 1-5%), use it as per need and this is what I do. I get generally stable colors but there are dyes which are very difficult to stabilize in such serums (they tend to agglomerate and settle down even when used as solution), so use regular oil dispersible pigment.

As @Bobzchemist said it might be a type of contamination, use dip slides from Schülke & Mayr and you would have the results within 24-48 hours of incubation. If not then you need to put the formula up here so that non-speculative suggestions can be made.

IIRC and I am not sure what the standard is but we had fixed it to 14% including the talc as filler. Depending on the shade and product the talc was variable within that fixed 14% for liquid or tube foundation both. This is for normal o/w foundation, for water-proof based on Abils and other things it was different including the talc and pigments which were hydrophobically modified.

The anionic SLS & SLES cannot go together with Polyquart 10 which is basically a cationic HEC. Think you should try Polyquart H81, it is compatible I suppose.

@Perry i tried using chemist77@chemistscorner.com
not working
I am trying to use my personal mail id but it says use company id nd which if i use makes life difficult as i work for a chemical trading co nd the moment they see it they restrict me to 75% site usage which defeats the whole purpose of being on ulprospector. -
Oh thats great news @Perry, what shall we write for official email which they ask for??? Appreciate all your efforts Perry.

But yeah @Bobzchemist explains it wonderfully and I absolutely enjoy his insight on color cosmetics and his perfectly balanced approach.
I did it for 6 years and honestly it is challenging and taxing at the same time. -
