I have suggested a glass formula in your other post, base this on the same concept. Take help from articles and other related literature.

Remove the SLES & Betaine, add little APG and this will ensure no residue or streaking. Add a little PEG-12 Dimethicone as anti-fog and I generally use anti-foam in ppm to kill off any foam. As @ozgirl says use Dowanol ether like PnB or PnP at 1% or less. Add a chelant if you want, don’t forget fragrance and preservative, adjust the pH between 6-7 and you are good to go.

@Perry that is indeed how it should be but then sensationalism pays
@Bill_Toge that is one heck of a list, I had an idea that it’s top class BS. Just wanted to confirm if others share the same wavelength. -
Bubble bath concept I guess, improvised.

CLR Berlin can be checked as well for Calendula oil.

Throw in upto 1% Benzalkonium Chloride and you have an anti-bacterial cleaner which can be diluted in various proportions depending on the need.

Goodness @isaiah, cannot you start a new thread. Is it really necessary to insert your query in a 3 year old thread.
Coming back yo your Multi-purpose cleaner liquid, get rid of all those if your benchmark is like Mr. Muscle or something similar. You need a nonionic like an APG, another co- surfactant from Berol range of Akzo like Berol 260, a chelant, an ether like Dowanol PnB and you are good to go. Keep the pH on higher side just in case. Don’t forget the preservatives.
PS: your anionics are going to leave a residue on the tiles and no one would like streaks on tiles. -
@Bill_Toge thank you so much, I knew I would have the reply before sunset ??
And that’s why I have 48% dispersion and not a solution. And that’s why it needs to be homogenized to reduce the particle size for suspension.
Thank you again for that trivia. -

@Doreen I have a similar issue here, difference being instead of those pigments I have Zinc Pyrithione and if the chelant will interfere with Zn+2
-
@Doreen think it is a lye based hair straightener and so the pH is on a much higher side.
@Chemist_Ahmed have you tried increasing the oil phase in increments like 10%, 15% and so on and so forth.
This is an extremely common recipe and if you search google properly, I am sure you will have success. -
The least that could be done!!!!!!
My fav product ATM, what with anti-spotting and other interesting studies; but please take an effort. It’s all here in chemistcorner, need to press just right keys. -
@Doreen the only thing thats gets spectacular is the price here ?
I completely agree with @Perry on his views for such value additions. -
@Belassi I am not sure if this might be of any help but I have noticed in my lab that sodium cocoamphoacetate has been a very good surfactant for some of the worst insolubles in my formulations. Case in point chlorhexidine gluconate which just was a very stubborn component and always kept falling out of the solution. It was completely tamed by this amphoteric, still unsure if this could help you in anyway.
Good luck though on your trials and we shall wait for your updates. -
Could be that high fragrance as well, just a thought.

MemberMarch 16, 2018 at 2:57 am in reply to: Neutralisation of Carbopol - Order of Addition@ozgirl I have used Ultrez 10 and had a similar formula expect the SLES. I made the gel first and then added the surfactants to it.
In another formula when I tried adding SLES (70%) the aeration was terrible and it was so persistent that I had to dispose the trial. -
@Doreen what was that link again on the etiquettes of raising the queries???
@Perry think it should be automatically displayed for every new sign up.
