    Hello everyone,

I’m working on a gellified Cleansing Oil for face.

    My formula contains:
    Synthetic Emollients - Q.S.
    Glyceryl Behenate (and) Glyceryl Behenate/Eicosadioate - 1.0%
    Natural Wax - 3%
    Botanical Oils - 25%
    PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate - 10%
    Tocopherol - 0.1%
    Glyceryl Caprylate/Caprate - 3%
    Fragrance oil -1%

I’d like to have makeup removability for the eye area, but it really stings the eyes. Is it the PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate causing the stinging? Is there an way for me to identify surfactants that are compatible for the eye area by their structure?
