European descent female here, with long fine hair (past my waistline) that I keep up most of the time (working in a lab, sort of necessary). When I shampoo I focus on my scalp and only then work the lather into the hair before rinsing, and I don’t let it stay on the hair for long.
When I condition, which is 2-3 times a week following shampooing, I will usually use a leave-in and start at the ends, working it up but not all the way to the scalp. I have never bleached my hair, but I do use henna on occasion. I also haven’t had my hair cut in over two years now, but am having very little trouble with splint ends and tangling due to using the leave-ins with either silicones or castor oil.

I challenge myself to be in the lab mixing something up four days a week, but often that’s not *new* it’s testing a client-provided formula, or checking a new raw material for acceptability or a dozen other things. We have a small lab, so I can’t really be mixing on multiple batches at a time, so there’s that at least.

Anca, I am afraid that is smaller than we ordinarily handle. Do let us know if your need increases.

Not sure we could help - We’re located in Texas, so if you’re supplying the raw materials you’d have to ship them here - but what size batch does this come to in kilograms?

Hi Genet, I sent you an email. My company is located in the US, in Texas. Happy to help if we can.

I wound up in the industry unexpectedly, and this has been a treasure trove of helps as I am scrambling to learn as much as I can as fast as humanly possible. What you do is very much appreciated, whether it’s asking the questions or answering them!
