@Perry What do you mean by body wash scrub? Does it mean that we have a surfactant (for example SLES), sugar and water all together? Is there any way to prevent solubility of sugar in water?

@Bobzchemist I grind the powders in a coffee grinder then add them to the oil phase and mix them and after that add the water phase.

and update: I used 0.1% xanthan gum in water phase and also increased the amount of trimethylsiloxysilicate . but they don’t help me as much as they should:
the foundation doesn’t stick enough to the skin and it doesn’t dry as fast as it should and after a few time when I rub it again on the skin, the color changes (give me more coverage
)!!!!!!! any other suggestion?

Based on your experience on the St. Ives, is this a good assumption:
“if the lotion ads 100% TEWL, we should expect 25% of added TEWl to retain after 6 hours? (in controlled environment)?” or should be something like 50%?

yes, increasing ethanol to 20% decreases drying time but it causes eyes stinging and its so bad. do you have any other idea? -

I am nearly new in formulating creams and your suggestions was very very useful for me.
I thought using high level of petroleum and mineral oil helps me for having long lasting after feel. but as I understand, it was wrong!
