Not possible with that raw material, sorry.

It is not clear what oils you are using. Most vegetable oils will not result in a clear liquid soap.

It was basically a carbomer gel with sodium cocoamphoacetate and CAPB.

The brand I use is called Proteasyl™ LS 8951
It’s a BASF product. See ULP for details. -
About $75 / Kilo.

No fishy smell to note.

I routinely read Dermatology news on this topic, and current opinion seems to be that diet is more helpful than skin treatments. There is a bacterial imbalance on the skin of acne sufferers but it seems unclear if this is the cause, or the effect.
As an example of how internal medicine can modify skin problems, my ageing female Springer spaniel was badly affected by isothiazolinones used as a preservative in a veterinary shampoo. This resulted in intractable AD (atopic dermatitis). The treatment that works best (100% remission) is 7mg daily of a JAK-inhibitor drug. I tried many, many topical treatments with little to no success.
In fact, the JAK pathway is now the target of many new drugs aimed at human problems such as eczema and psoriasis. -
@Pharma: We tested DMAE. Had visible results against photo-aging spots. Now one of our anti-age components.

I would prefer spray-on hair to spray-on scalp.

But SCI is anionic and BTMS is cationic…

Emulgin VL75. It was terrible. After leaving the sample for a month it had separated into 2/3 glucoside and the rest, the other stuff.

If you want to make a modern high tech cleaner I can help. But if it’s going to have to be some old fashioned thing with ammonia and SLS and so on, I’m uninterested.

You have all those smelly ingredients. Virgin coconut oil for example. What happens when a painter mixes all the colours together? A colour that looks like … excrement.

MemberJanuary 23, 2020 at 5:05 pm in reply to: Adpating an emulsion base to become a Night CreamIn my opinion, formulating from scratch is easier than adding things to someone else’s formula and expecting it to be stable. It really is not that difficult. My first experiment was to combine organic shea butter and hair gel. It worked fine. A carbomer cream.

Yes, sure, if you want to make something for sale 100 years ago…

You can make a very effective multipurpose cleaner with a tiny % of ingredients, provided you use modern technology. With a pH that high it sounds as if you’re using antique tech.

No, I don’t think so. We’re hoping to open a small store in Santiago, nearby. It’s a touristic place.

Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides should be a good choice since it is fast-absorbing. Shea gives a greasy effect but try it and see; if you use organic shea it has an effect on dark circles. But you will need to melt and filter it first. 0.4% Xanthan gum seems a little too high. I agree with Perry about Phase 3. Like one other person here, I use Pea Peptides at 3.5% in our antiaging product and we get visible results.
