they were in bathroom ≤25°c. They were my first sample with formalin and we were checking if they cause irritation or not from Shampoo.also, how old is your formalin solution?
this i don’t know and may not be able to know. depending on the age, it may contain oligomers and other impuritiesis this impurity produced by age in all formalin or what?
Does it have any side effects?Does formalin that goes yellow has less preservative efficiency or any side effects?
@@Bill_Toge thanks

First crush the salt to turn it to powder. Then dissolve it very easily in water. No problem.

As Graillotion said, first of all add a chelating agent.
That was the batch size and what mixer or homogenizer did you use?
What is oil that you are using?
Melting maybe because it has trapped to much air. Too much air trapped can make a product look white and opaque that what it really is.
This current color is normal for 2% shea butter. More shea butter will make it darker. Your oil may also change the color.

The latter gives a slightly more squeaky-clean feel.Cationic stuff binds to skin less than hair. It shouldn’t be causing problems.Thanks.
In order to reduce the cost i am purchasing in a bit higher quantities (25kg or more) so if i could use one ingredients in many products that would be very good.
I am already using cationic guar in shampoo and have stock of it. -

EntrepreneurDecember 28, 2021 at 5:26 am in reply to: Dermofeel PA-3: Do any US-based “repackers” carry this ingredient? It has only 1% alcohol so you can not use it at all if you make your own version

ggpetrov said:Isn’t the Allantoin anionic? Maybe I am wrong but you can’t use it in combination with strong cationic compounds.
No it is not anionic. But sodium phytate and citric acid is.

Remove citric acid and sodium phytate too.
Also use less than 5% BTMS 50 and add some fatty alcohol to stabilize it.
