  Which preservatives in hair styling wax water base

  Am making styling wax and i want suitable preservatives i have phenoxyethanol but they told me its not enough

  You would get more helpful answers if you listed the ingredients in your formula.

  ceteareth 25 25%

  Glycerin 4%

  Propylene glycol 5%

  Peg7 glyceral cocate 5%

  Pvp k90 1%

  Peg90m 1%

  Water 70%

  I’ve used a similar formulation, and preserved it successfully with 0.9% phenoxy, 0.1% ethylhexylglycerin and 0.05% bronopol

  DMDM Hydantoin would work well. 
  Or a blend of “Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea”
