  What does funtion of Hydrochloric Acid HCl in fabric softener product?

  I read the integration of fabric softener Comfort brand, and notice it contain Hydrochloric Acid (yes, HCl, not HOCl - hyaluronic acid use in skincare)

  Actually i googling but dont know whats funtion of it in this product, anyone please explain for me? many thank

    thank, so why not use citric acid or weakess acid for that? i think HCl is to strong
