I would like to try to make the tincture of green soap and I found a formula that is the following and it refers to a National Formulary:
    Green soap:
vegetable oil, oleic acid, KOH, glycerin, water
    Green soap tincture
Green soap plus alcohol (around 30%)

What is a National Formulary? Will I be able to find the formula with instructions?
If not, how can I dissolve the soap in alcohol?

Green soap: vegetable oil, oleic acid, KOH, glycerin, water: These are almost the same ingredients that make up castile soap, not sure why they call it green soap. The only difference is the addition of oleic acid which is found in some vegetable oils.
