Sles pump
Greetings.
Happy new year.
Im just wondering what kind of pump do you use for paste sles, im tired of ussing cups and jars, and im ussing arround 400lb of sles/day, im ussing 2″ diaphagram pump at 80psi for liquid soap and shampoo but they doesnt work for sles.

You’d better make a dilute SLES working solution yourself.
Working with pastes is too time consuming and difficult.Not for nothing many suppliers sell 26-29% SLES instead of the paste.
Diluting 60/70% SLES paste with 2x its water weight yields a water-thin solution.
If the working solution will be left standing for too long, you may wish to add preservatives. Although SLES ain’t too prone to feed bacterial growth.

Thanks You @Gunther for your answer, it is about 30% more expensive buying 28% sles, it takes 2.5 more volumen to tove shipped My country, i can’t afford that.
There must be a suitable pump, i’m buying sles from LG household and they are selling a Lot 70% drums, so i’m wonfering what kind of pump are ussing the industries, worm, gear, pistón pumps.

a rotary lobe pump is best for non-Newtonian fluidsalso, the engineering firm Bran & Luebbe supply mixing systems specifically designed for diluting SLES, you might want to look into one of them
