  Shaving soap - like a “hard paste” - not bar

  I like to make a wonderful shaving soap for my husband - not to hard like a bar, but more like a hard paste with lots of stearic acid (40%). Someone here that have experience with using both NaOH and KOH? What %?

  35% NaOH 65% KOH. But you won’t achieve a “paste” with 40% of stearic acid.
