    Hello!

I’ve attended quite a bit of seminars sponsored by Raw Material suppliers regarding Pressed Powders (foundations/eyeshadows/blushes/and etc). and the buzz now seems to be products pressed with only dry binders.

Though the sample formulations seem interesting and the convenience factor is appealing, I’d like to ask you, my colleagues here, if any of you have tried pressing powders without liquid binders. Any thoughts or opinions before I try and embark on experimenting with this? :)

    Thank you.

I have recently tried pressing matte shadows completely dry, and I feel it was a success.  I had to press in several layers and use quite a bit force. I have never tried to press my mica shadow dry. What is an example of a dry binder?
