  • Maximum Amount of Powder in Water? [Ingestible]

    Hello all!

    A request was made for:

    112ml Solution

36 grams of powder (4-5 different materials)
    10-20g oils
    Water d.s.

What is the best way, if there is one, to get all the powder together into a mixture. Would thickening help?

Preferably this would NOT be a shake-before-use, but if that’s the only way then that is fine.

And if there’s no way to do this, what would you suggest be the maximum amount of powder that can mix into water or a thickened water solution at 112ml

    Thanks for any input!

Depends on the powder: Type of powder, quality of powder, particle size and size distribution, porosity, surface modifications, type of powders used in the blend, ratio of included powders in said blend, just to mention some factors affecting the amount which can be suspended and whether or not a gelling/thickening agent should/could be incorporated.
You could also use dry water and mix that with a powder ;) .
