Looking for a consultant quote for new cosmetics line (and advice?)

I’ve been lurking for a little while now, trying to gather some data for a new cosmetics line I’m attempting to start.Basically I have the ideas, and I’m looking for someone to help me take my idea to a finished product.This is basically what’s happening at the current moment: I am putting together a Kickstarter with all of my ideas, models, what-ifs, etc. I’m pricing out packaging, printing costs, shipping costs, each and every little thing to nail down a rough estimate of the amount of money I will need to accomplish what I am doing.These are the specifics that you would need to know: I am looking to formulate 4 eyeshadows to start with for the campaign, with the possibility of doing an additional 8 more, broken up into groups of four (12 total potentially).What I need is a rough estimate of how much that would cost me. It doesn’t have to be super specific or precise. It doesn’t even have to be what the lowest amount I could do is. I just need a rough figure to patch into my algorithm so when all is said and done, I would have raised enough money to cover the costs of the consultant and the formulations and production.Does that make sense? Maybe? So far, I have been going with the idea that in the beginning, I will produce 2000 units. Not sure if that’s a feasible number, but it seems to be a common minimum order quantity I noticed when researching packaging.I’m aware that these are loose guidelines, but I don’t need tight amounts. Just a quote of what you would charge for consulting for 4 shadows originally, then 8, then 12. I settled on 1.5 grams of product per pan. I’m not sure if that helps.I apologize in advance if any of this is too forward or not correct for how to address what I need, so if anyone has any advice or can help steer me in the correct direction I would appreciate it. Obviously all I have on my side are ideas and not much else.Thanks in advance for any and all help.

are you looking for pressed, creme or loose shadows? I can help with loose or hot pour crème but not with pressed. We don’t do pressed but if the other two interest you I would be more than happy to help. Beatrice@preciouscosmetics.com
